Every mission matters. But even the most passionate leaders can get stuck and the most dedicated teams can falter. I come in, listen, and help surface what's already there. And when the answers aren't there yet, we find them together.
About Me
I've spent fifteen years working across international development, philanthropy, and organizational consulting, with organizations like Partners In Health, Chemonics International, World Education Inc., and USAID's Office of Transition Initiatives, across the United States, the Middle East, Africa, and Latin America.
The work took me from rapid-response grantmaking in conflict settings in Yemen, Mali, and Haiti, to institutional fundraising at Harvard-affiliated global health programs, to building fundraising infrastructure for intermediaries working with indigenous women in the American Southwest.
Throughout my career, I saw the same pattern: organizations with the right mission and the right people, struggling because their strategy, structure, and systems weren't aligned. The ones that moved forward found the balance between structure and soul, between process and relationship, between institutionalizing and staying human.
That balance is what I help organizations find.
I work in English, Arabic, French, and Spanish, with foundations, nonprofits, intermediaries, and mission-driven organizations ready to look honestly at what's in the way.
How I work
1. I take the whole picture seriously.
Strategy, structure, systems, and the humans at the center, I never pull on one without looking at all the others. Lasting change happens when everything moves together.
2. I surface what's already there. The thinking is usually there. The solutions too, scattered, unspoken, buried under the urgency of the day-to-day. Sometimes something genuinely new is needed. I try to tell the difference.
3. I know the difference between a people problem and a systems problem.
Conflict and dysfunction are often symptoms of structural misalignment, unclear roles, insufficient support, or a strategy nobody fully owns. You can't change personalities, but you can build the conditions where people thrive. That's usually where the real work is.
